Funky Rezo-tube vibrato system (no vibrato arm). The frets and fretboard are in fine shape. The nut is a replacement. The "Baldwin" logo plate on the upper bout bass horn is missing.Cool V-shaped headstock with clean plastic "Baby Bison" logo plate. There is lacquer finish cracking and checking on the body and neck. There's a funky 1/2 lacquer puddle on the treble side of the headstock V. There's various other little finish wear here and there, with some scrapes, scratches, and little dings. It's an atypical circuit.
The three control knobs are volume, presence, and tone. The neck's in good shape and appropriately straight. 12th fret action is good: a shade over 3/32" on the bass side and a shade under 3/32" on the treble side.
It comes in the original Baldwin hard case, which, actually, is a bit big for the guitar. It comes with the old red 1/4 cable that it came with.
And it comes with a little Hohner blues harmonica in C. I just put new Fender flatwound strings on it and love it. I actually did some recording with it.There are some cool old photos of Skunk Baxter of the Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan playing a Baby Bison back in the day. It's a cool, not too common, electric guitar. Out our YouTube channel, Toadstool Shadow, to hear some of our original music.
